Application/Registration Fee: The fee per family is $100.00 and is not refundable.

Academic and Technology Fee: This fee, also non-refundable is $150 for each child. This fee pays for textbooks & workbooks (not supplied by the state), insurance, supplies, software and computer maintenance and upgrade. The academic and technology fee needs to be paid by June 16, 2009.  After this date the fee will be added to the tuition bill. If a late fee has been incurred and has not been paid by the June 16 date, this fee will also be added to tuition. This fee is refundable only to those families whose child is not accepted into the school as a result of grade level screening.

***Application/Registration Fees and Academic and Technology Fees are not refundable in the event there is a sudden transfer or sudden move.

Participation in the "300" Raffle: All families will be expected to take part in the Winter "300" Raffle that is held prior to Christmas. Each family will purchase a ticket for $100 (by separate check) upon registration. Families may keep the ticket themselves, sell to another party or even split the cost among other individuals. The ticket stub includes space for five other names - if a family wishes to divide the cost and prize. All names for the ticket must be submitted by November 28, 2009 or the family name shall appear alone on the ticket.

MONTHLY TUITION - KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SEVENTH GRADE

THEREFORE MONTHLY AMOUNTS WILL DIFFER

Category A — Is for registered parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish who demonstrate faithful attendance and make use of the parish envelopes. This category will be approved by the Pastor.
One Child $4,960 ($413 per month)
Two Children $7,938 ($662 per month)
Three Children $9,412 ($784 per month)

Weekly Envelopes: To receive Category A determination, registered parish families should use the parish envelopes and contribute a minimum of $10 per week. Families that choose NOT to make these donations and NOT to attend Mass on a regular basis shall be assigned to Category B.

Category B — Catholic Families that do not attend Sacred Heart of Jesus church and are registered in other parishes (including Most Holy Trinity, West Point).
One Child $5,329 ($444 per month)
Two Children $8,522 ($710 per month)
Three Children $10,112 ($842 per month)

Category C — Non-Catholic Families
One Child $5,673 ($472 per month)
Two Children $9,082 ($756 per month)
Three Children $10,786 ($898 per month)

PLEASE NOTE:
Eighth Grade is on a ten-month payment plan. The monthly amounts shall differ. All financial obligations must be made in order to participate in graduation.
Tuition is paid directly to the school only if you intend to make one or two payments.
Pay in full by September 1st and receive a 4% discount. Pay one half by September 1st and one half by February 1st and receive a 2% discount.
Otherwise tuition is paid through the SMART Tuition Management Services.
Your payment option must be chosen by July 1st.

Volunteers will be needed. For Sacred Heart of Jesus School to be successful in its programs and in its fundraising events, volunteers are still needed for events and committees. During the year, there are needed: class parents; yearbook production staff and library monitors. Volunteers are needed for special events such as: Catholic Schools Week (the end of January); Christmas Blessings; the School play; the Science Fair; Field Day and Recess Back-Up. The active involvement in these positions and events ensures that such programs and events can continue. Please give some thought of the time that you can make available in these programs. Parents will sign up at the first general meeting in September.
