7th Grade

After spending three years at O'Neill High School, Mr. Chris Patella joined the Sacred Heart faculty in 2007. "My first year at Sacred Heart was extremely challenging and equally rewarding." Mr. Patella attended Most Precious Blood School in Walden, NY and Wallkill High School in Wallkill, NY. His education continued at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He has been teaching in alternative programs in Port Jervis, NY, Ulster County BOCES, and most recently at O'Neill High School.

Aside from his teaching duties, Mr. Patella runs an after-school volleyball program for 6th-8th graders and is the faculty adviser for the National Junior Honor Society. Outside of school, Mr. Patella stays busy as an usher at St. Patrick's Church in Newburgh and a volunteer with the Newburgh Ministry.
