Summer Reading for Students Entering Grades 7 and 8

Please choose three books to read this summer. You may read any age appropriate book written in the English language that is longer than 150 pages (see the bottom of this page for some fun suggestions). After reading each book, write a two-page summary of the book. Include information such as main characters, the setting, the plot, the climax, and whether or not you recommend the book for others to read. Please explain all of your information and recommendations thoroughly. Please design a creative cover for each report that reflects what the story is about. Make sure you include your name and grade on each report. Happy reading and have a wonderful summer!
